Responsibilities:
Program level:
Accountable for the life cycle and the successful delivery of the given program (IT Project Managers & other Leads are responsible for the successful delivery of the given program elements).
Establishing and managing governance & ways of working on program level.
Managing the risks and issues that might arise over the course of the program life cycle and take measures to correct them when they occur
Managing stakeholders, Steering Committee, etc. on program level, also supporting the IT Project Managers within the program to make sure that the projects are delivered based on the success criteria of the program.
Directly leading up to 2 programs; control of keeping the program/project budget
Project level:
Leads projects to implement MOL Group’s Business strategic initiatives related to IT investments and application developments.
Leads up to 5 parallel projects; Coordinates teams - up to 20 people / indirectly coordinates project teams of 150 people; Controls to keep the program/project budget
Coordinates analysis of business processes and requirements in cooperation with several business and functional units across MOL Group.
Ensures alignment and communication on operative level with impacted stakeholders, organizational units and external parties during planning and execution of project management activities.
Leads IT infrastructural, application development and system replacement projects supporting MOL Group activities (ERP implementation in new/existing companies, SAP module related developments, SAP Platform upgrades, migrations, integration and data processing)
Participates in planning and preparation of MOL Group level IT projects and programs and post-implementation evaluation.
Controls, coordinates and supports from project management professional point of view the implementation of projects according to planned and approved timeline, budget, scope, resources and quality.
Provides regular report on progress to project sponsors, steering committee and senior management. Ensures project closing activities according to internal regulations and processes.
Prepares estimations and proposal on resource planning and allocation, both for human resources and budget of the project.
Provides continuous risk, issue and progress analysis according to defined tasks, technical specifications, budget plan, business and legal requirements and project schedule.
Prepares resolution proposal within approved project framework to manage risks and issues arising unexpectedly and ensures decision making and approval according to LDA.
Leads and coordinates the testing activities related to application developments and supports preparation and coordination of end user trainings.
Ensures definition and set up of operational support process for new applications and manages handover of system changes to related IT organizations.
Manages procurement related activities, co-operates with external partner(s) involved in project implementation, defines evaluation criteria in alignment with senior experts and evaluates external vendor proposal from technical perspective, provides input for external partner evaluation.
Other: Participates in the onboarding of new joiner project managers, overviews the IT program and project management methodologies and related processes, provides improvement suggestions regarding to the Domain and central portfolio management.
Requirements:
University or college degree/ Information technology or Economics degree
12+ years professional experience in IT, Minimum of 8 years professional experience in Project/Program Management, leading international IT implementation projects
Understanding of systems and industry-specific business applications and/or understanding/knowledge of ERP systems/sub-modules
Project Management professional certificate (Prince2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent)
Excellent interpersonal-, conflict handling and communication skills – the ability to communicate well in English and Hungarian, verbally and in written form.
Advanced project and program management skills, advanced stakeholder/account management skills, advanced vendor management skills, good finance and resource management skills, structured way of thinking, excellent organizational skills
Ability to establish priorities, coordinating, communicating and managing tasks with minimal direction from organizational strategy, highly motivated with a positive attitude, problem-solving approach and tolerance of stress, Service and customer focus mindset
Ability to delegate, empower, support and inspire team members.
