Q Pharma Kft. is a specialized pharmaceutical company owned and headquartered in Hungary. Its activity deals with pharmaceutical trade, pharmaceutical production and marketing activities.

It sells its products primarily in Hungary and in the countries of the gradually expanding international market.

We deal with the distribution and production of non-prescription and prescription products.

Senior Accountant will be responsible for building up in house and manage accounting functions and processes of the group companies, actively monitor and advice about taxation and legislation requirements. In transition period the candidate will be responsible for management of daily activity of external accounting and payroll companies and in final stage manage solo and/or support of bookkeeper all accounting transaction. The position requires strong accounting knowledge and experiences with independent ability to work, proactive and improvement approach, to work with attention to detail and assurance. Senior Accountant will be reporting directly to CFO of the Q Pharma.

• Daily management of external accounting and payroll companies. Coordination financial processes between companies with responsibility for accurate accounting and tax activity of the companies in line with accounting and legislation principles.
• Preparation/coordination consolidated monthly financial statements for the company (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash-Flow statement, Tax return, and Aging reports
• Processing of bookings and any financial transactions
• Management of yearly Financial Statements preparation process
• Active advice and monitoring about tax and legislations changes
• Building plan and execution of transition in house accounting functions and processes from 3rd parties
• Support in preparation of financial budgets, quarterly forecasts, and multi-year plans (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)

• 10+ years accounting experience in international company (preferable pharmaceutical industry, but not mast)
• Master’s degree in accounting/finance
• Hungarian Charted Accountant Qualification
• Accounting systems operations and integration experiences
• Intermediate, active verbal and written English language skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong organization skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Have an open mind for process improvement and embracing change
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to bring projects/datils tasks to timely completion with minimal supervision
• Critical and analytical thinker

• Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical taxation legislation as advantage
• Payroll experience as advantage
