Our partner is currently seeking to recruit an experienced accountant to cover maternity leave for about 2–3 years. It is a global multinational group in consumer networking, consumer electronics, enterprise networking, enterprise security, software, and cloud services, operating with dual headquarters in Singapore and the US to bolster its worldwide operations.

Your new role

This position is primarily responsible for the company’s financial procedures, records and statements for compliance with laws and regulations.

Daily, weekly, monthly bookkeeping tasks (banks, payments, AP, AR and GL);

Responsible for internal and external reporting and monthly closing tasks for the Management;

Preparing and filing various tax returns such as VAT, LBT, CIT, payroll related tax returns, EPR fee, etc. ;

Preparation of the monthly payroll calculation;

Participation in the yearly audit process, preparing the Financial Statements;

Performing independent tax tasks, possibly in cooperation with external advisors;

Contacting and continuously reporting to the Tax Authority, to Central Statistical Office, to the Hungarian National Bank;

And any other financial supporting works.

What you'll need to succeed

• Higher financial and economic education, university/college degree in finance or accounting. • Chartered Accountant qualification is desirable

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience on field of accounting or financial, especially in General Ledger Accounting, Preparation of tax calculation and tax returns, preparation of payroll calculation.

• Ability to perform routine tasks independently and accurately;

• Fast learning, independent working, good at teamwork;

• Adequate communication skills;

• Fluent in Hungarian and English;

• SAP knowledge is an advantage
