Our partner is a Technology Company which is continuing its digital finance transformation which started six years ago that has automated and streamlined most of the areas of their finance function.

Your new role

This role will drive the transition from outsourced accounting to fully-in-house financial operations-ensuring compliance with local regulations. One short-term key aspect of this transition is the implementation of S/4 HANA and related integrated tools such as Ariba. You will be working on an international scale with many teams across the business, working with a high degree of autonomy and troubleshooting issues as they arise from a variety of sources - making your work interesting and diverse.

Your tasks will be:

Driving the implementation of S/4 HANA with the support of the Director of International Finance;

Managing the audit of financial statements;

Preparing the monthly cash forecast;

Preparing the monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

What you'll need to succeed

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is preferred.

Strong understanding of tax regulations, compliance, and accounting standards in Hungary. IFRS or US GAAP is an advantage.

A few years of experience in accounting or finance roles in Hungary, including in handling tax matters and liaising with tax authorities.

Excellent Hungarian speaking and writing
