Senior Accountant with French
French-speaking Senior Accountant position is open at our multinational client, who is supporting the global Group from Budapest.

Your new role
- Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings under US GAAP.
- Complete US GAAP reporting.
- Coordinate annual audit activities with external auditors and complete statutory reporting.
- Handle local tax filings, corporate income tax returns, VAT returns, and other indirect tax declarations.
- Assist in internal audits and SOX compliance.
- Provide support during tax audits and government inspections.
- Support P2P and O2C processes and coordinate necessary payments like taxes and salaries.
What you'll need to succeed
- Fluent French and English language knowledge
- 3 to 8 years relevant experience – Accounting & audit firm experience is a plus
- Knowledge of US GAAP, local GAAP, Tax principles, statutory and regulatory reporting principles
- University degree, preferably with emphasis on Finance/Accounting
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Basic computer and MS Excel skill
- Multitasking skills
