Our client is a long-established manufacturing company, a market leader in urban engineering and mobility solutions. Now, they are looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant with a wealth of experience and a desire to develop, who would like to join the team to improve AP processes. A good command of English and German is essential for this position - although in the case of German, a strong writing ability is also a good match!

Main responsibilities:

Participate in invoice verification, processing, reclaims, corrections, AP closing, and periodic activities.

Engage in day-to-day operations of master data management and document reception.

Identify, assess, and resolve issues as they arise.

Identify and implement process improvements.

Collaborate with businesses and stakeholders to cultivate professional relationships.

Deliver high-quality customer service.

Maintain and update process manuals and relevant work instructions regularly.

Provide training to junior colleagues as needed.

Required skills:

Preferred degree in Economics or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP) accounting.

Proficient in English and German.

Commitment to continuous improvement and quality.

Strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Positive can-do attitude with the ability to work independently.

Excellent team player.

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
