We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team in developing, optimizing, and scaling a healthcare SaaS product built on a microservices architecture hosted in AWS. Built with. NET Core and C#, backend supports a robust and scalable system that is currently single-tenancy, with plans to transition to a multi-tenant model. This role is key to developing secure and scalable services and optimizing backend performance, while implementing best practices to support growth and reliability of the backend system.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of backend development experience with a focus on. NET Core and C#, preferably in a SaaS environment
• Microservices Expertise: Proven experience developing, deploying, and managing microservices in a distributed system, ideally on AWS
• Single/Multi-Tenancy: Prior experience in architecting or working within single/multi-tenant systems, focusing on data isolation, resource allocation, and efficiency
• AWS Knowledge: Strong experience with AWS and AWS managed services
• Database Management: Hands-on experience with relational database(s)-
• API Development: Proficient in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs that are secure, efficient, and scalable
• Code Quality and Testing: Experience with code review, automated testing, and continuous integration practices
• Containerization: Proficiency in containerization technologies, such as Docker, and understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes
• Monitoring, Observability and Alerting: Familiarity with monitoring, observability and alerting tools
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot issues in distributed systems
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional environments
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in healthcare technology or handling sensitive data environments, with knowledge of HIPAA compliance
