Our partner is a well-known brand in the aviation industry. The team in Budapest – which was founded 2 years ago - is rapidly growing, hence we are seeking our next colleagues to join as Data Engineer. As a Senior Data Engineer within our team, your focus will be to build high-quality applications that are maintainable and secure. You will work closely with both the business and other functions within the Data team (Data Analyst, Data Scientist) to create data-driven solutions that contribute to the optimisation of our HR processes and broader business goals.

You are the ideal candidate if you have:

Fluency in English language, both spoken and written;

A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer;

Cloud engineering experience, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP) OR Azure;

Knowledge about data architecture: you are aware of the concept of data warehouse, data lake;

Experience with both SQL and no-SQL databases such as Google BigQuery, PostgreSQL and MongoDB;

Possess knowledge of ETL pipeline development using Python and Rest API calls;

Know CI/CD principles and infra as code (Terraform experience);

Building Data lake with latest architecture, tools and techniques;

Helping Data scientists in bringing the models to production for AI and Reporting;

Experience with Linux;

Know about other technologies such as SAP (SAP BW) and PowerBI;

Know integration patterns such as SOA, request/reply (RESTful API's) and event-driven architecture (JMS/Kafka);

In-depth knowledge and experience in the agile way of working (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban);

Possesses excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and is capable of conveying data insights clearly to both business stakeholders and technical teams;

Is flexible and proactive, with a hands-on mentality to deliver results quickly and making an impact.
