TAKKT group are expanding our presence in Budapest, Hungary, to host the new European TAKKT Competence Center (TCC). Building on recent improvements in our processes and customer experience, the TCC will support our European colleagues in streamlining processes, modernizing systems, and driving innovation. This expansion means we will be hiring highly skilled experts in digital and future-focused competencies, ensuring that we remain competitive and customer-centric as we embrace new technologies, including AI.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Frontend Software Engineer to join our team and make an impact on the user experience of our e-commerce platform. Your work will directly influence the development of our React-based storefront, a critical component of our omnichannel environment supporting our B2B operations. By developing performant and scalable user interfaces, you will help drive the company’s growth and success.

• Frontend Development
• Develop and maintain our React-based storefront, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaboration with Product and Design Teams
• Work directly with our product and design teams to contribute engineering insights and provide solutions to complex problems.
• Clean and Maintainable Code
• Advocate for and implement clean, efficient, and maintainable JavaScript code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues, ensuring a seamless and reliable user experience.
• Code Reviews and Knowledge Sharing
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and sharing your expertise with the team.
• Cross-Department Collaboration
• Collaborate with other engineering departments to ensure that solutions work harmoniously across the entire tech stack.
• Emerging Technologies
• Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and propose their adoption where they can bring value to the team and product.
• Agile Collaboration
• Work within an agile environment, collaborating with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver features and improvements efficiently.

Professional Qualifications

• Education: B. Sc. or comparable degree in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
• React Expertise: Proven experience developing with React, with a strong understanding of its core principles and patterns.
• JavaScript Development: Strong experience in JavaScript development, particularly with building modern, maintainable, and scalable web applications.
• State Management: Hands-on experience with Redux or similar state management libraries.
• Web Technologies: Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern web development techniques.
• Frontend Performance: Ability to debug and optimize frontend applications for performance and scalability.
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git and collaborative workflows.
• Code Quality: Strong focus on writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban. Knowledge of SAFe is a plus.
