We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Engineer to join our client being engaged in the development of new bio-based technologies. The Senior IT Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the organization's IT systems and infrastructure, both locally and globally. The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in IT and will have extensive knowledge of network security, data backup and recovery, cloud computing, virtualization and data architectures. Senior IT EngineerFeladatok As Senior IT Engineer your tasks will be the following:IT network and infrastructure planning, coordination with participation in implementation, operation, troubleshootingParticipation in IT development projects with professional advice and participation in implementationDevelopment and implementation of IT security regulations, implementation of intrusion protectionBeing responsible for operating and management of the central VMware and Windows server infrastructure, on-premise and cloud (Azure) parts, including the critical services (e-mail, SPAM filtering, file- and print, company intranet, meeting system) maintenance and keeping up to dateBeing responsible for IT network management, including the management of the switches and firewallsBeing responsible for developing data backup and restore procedures, operating the backup system, including on-premise and cloud (Azure) partsBeing responsible for developing and operating OS and software installation automatization proceduresBeing responsible for developing and maintenance of a central IT network monitoring systemMaintenance and management of licenses and domainsContact and cooperation with external IT partners and suppliers, participation in IT related procurementsEnsuring, supervising and maintaining the operating environment of IT services provided by external partnersParticipation in preparing of new devicesOccasional user support (L1)Support IT Specialists in problem solving with high level support (L2)Acting as primary deputy of the IT ManagerKövetelmények Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering or a similar roleProven experience in cyber security, penetration testing.
