Scriptide is an innovative Hungarian software house active in international markets, primarily in Japan. Our main focus is developing business web and mobile applications for the Japanese market.

The company currently operates with a team of 12, including 10 developers, two of whom are also owners. All of our developers possess full-stack expertise, working on TypeScript applications with React, React Native, NodeJS, and Electron.

Our team is young, energetic, and motivated. We are looking for people who are capable of growth and eager to develop. Work takes place in an informal atmosphere at our office on Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street 5 (a 1-minute walk from the Deák Square metro station). Our goal is to maintain a humane, productive environment where professional growth and advancement are assured. , Scriptide is looking for a versatile Senior Full Stack JavaScript Developer who can plan and write extendable, maintainable code.

It's a huge advantage if you're a mentor type of person with good communication skills, and you can lead teams on occasion. We support home office, however, we have a Budapest based HQ (located 1 minute on foot from Deák Ferenc tér), we expect you to spend about 3-4 days a week onsite.  

Team:  Our team is made up of talented, driven developers, the average age of the team is 28 with all members being in their 20s. The atmosphere is welcoming, we usually play sports and go out together.

Projects:  All of our clients are mid- to large international corporations and we always make sure the tech stack matches our team's interest and skillsets. Developers are rotated between clients and projects every 6-12months.

Responsibilities:

• able to choose a suitable tech stack and setup a project
• pro in NodeJS
• able to develop fully REST compliant APIs
• experienced with Express (or any equivalents) and NestJS
• pro in SQL and NoSQL databases
• pro with popular ORMs
• experienced with testing (unit, integration E2E) and testing frameworks
• writes high-quality, maintainable, extendable code
• experienced with cloud (at least one of AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• experienced with Docker (and possibly Kubernetes)
• has solid computer science knowledge
• aware of resource management
• understands project lifecycle from kickoff to maintenance
• able to create and follow patterns

• pro in React, NextJS and TypeScript
• pro in CSS and HTML
• able to make reusable components
• pro with state management libraries
• knows responsive web design
• able to implement flashy animations
• able to create and follow patterns

• familiar with Vue
• familiar with GraphQL
• familiar with Python,  GO,  Rust,  C,  C++ or any other language
• experience with React Native or native mobile development
• a degree in Computer Science
• broad experience with development in general
