What is the job about?

This job primarily involves acting as a Data Steward for Product & Material Data, focusing on Product & Motor Classification. The goal is to manage, ensure quality, and govern data assets effectively using best practices. As a Data Steward, you maintain data integrity, enforce policies and standards, and enhance data quality across systems. Your role is vital in data governance, compliance, and lifecycle management.

Your main responsibilities:

• PLM activity, according to related Processes & Standards
• Effective participation in PIT for Product & Material Master Data to secure that processes continuously live up to-and improve data quality.
• Mentor for less experienced team members.
• Communicate to stakeholders outside the project on status and progress.
• Data Steward for relevant areas e. g. , Motor Char. ’s
• Ambassador for Product & Material Master Data Quality

• Ideally holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering
• Product & Application Knowledge: Good understanding of SAP Classification and the ability to learn technical details about Products & Materials
• Data Expertise: Knowledge of data management principles, governance frameworks, data quality, and regulatory requirements for privacy and security.
• Attention to Detail: A methodical approach to data analysis, validation, and quality management ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effective communication skills to work with data owners, IT teams, business users, and executives.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to critically evaluate data sets for quality issues, identify patterns, and make informed decisions.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive in identifying data-related problems, troubleshooting, and proposing innovative solutions.
• Adaptability & Agility: Flexibility to adapt to evolving data environments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
• Compliance & Ethics: Commitment to data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Continuous Learning: An eagerness to stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data management.
