We have recently won new business with an automotive client in Hungary which means we have just opened a new site. We are currently looking for a Site HR Manager to help develop this site. This is an exciting opportunity where you will be involved from the start of the operation as part of the launch team to when the site is fully operational with over 600 employees working there.

You will be reporting to the Site Manager and you will be in charge of all of the day to day HR activities. Initially you will be working with the team to get the basic HR functions organized before moving onto long term HR strategic planning.

You will be managing a small team and be supported by the wider HR team across the European region that includes compensation teams, talent development and talent acquisition. You will make sure that the payroll is running smoothly, industrial relations are being looked after, minimum employee numbers are being met, all training and compliance is carried out as well as other HR duties.

We are looking to scale this site over the next few years so you will be working with the team to directly recruit the blue collar staff for this site. This will involve recruitment campaigns and working with external recruitment partners.

You will work with the site manager to understand their long term commercial goals for the site and make sure that HR policies and processes align with what they need. So who are we looking for?

 

• Min 5 years experience as a HR Manager ideally within logistics, manufacturing or related field
• Experience of scaling a site at pace and efficiently
• Strong people management skills
• The ability to manage multiple projects at any one time
• A strong understanding of Hungarian labour law
• Strong IR skills and previous experience of dealing with unions.
• Fluent language skills in English and Hungarian
