How is the developer team working?

We work in small, agile development teams that have the empowerment to make technical decisions and drive their projects forward. Our developers are encouraged to explore new technologies and bring fresh ideas to the table. We foster a transparent and open communication culture across teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical strategies. Regular team syncs, code reviews, and migrations help us stay on track.

Our team follows best practices in software development, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code. We operate in GCP with a microservices architecture. We embrace flexibility, combining the best of both worlds: in-office collaboration (2–3 days per week) and remote work, which allows for deep focus and a healthy work-life balance.

Your mission is to step into an exciting role where you’ll not only lead a team of talented developers but also engage in hands-on coding! We’re searching for someone with a knack for both tech brilliance and leadership magic.

Your daily tasks will be…:

• Ensure the team takes responsibility for their services and systems, while owning technical oversight, including code reviews and strategic tech decisions;
• Perform hands-on programming - your developer experience will not only help you in operational tasks but your team will highly trust in you when it comes to mentoring or providing technical feedback;
• Challenge team processes to support autonomy, accountability, trust, and decision-making, constantly seeking to boost empowerment and motivation;
• Cascade communications effectively, ensuring alignment with company culture and behavior expectations;
• Engage in research and proof of concepts, evolving architectures to meet future business and technical requirements;
• Build key networks and relationships with Tech Heads of the Tribe, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, UX, Tech Leads, HR, and the Tech Community Manager.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Developer, working with the required technologies;
• 1 year of experience in people management or strong mentoring skills;
• Experience with the required tech stack:
  • PHP,
  • Laravel,
  • MySQL,
  • Redis,
  • RabbitMQ,
• Strong, conversational level of English (at least B2) in both written and spoken;
• Owning the soft skills that make you a perfect candidate: team player, communicative, positive attitude, willing to learn new things, seek improvements, goal-oriented mindset.

• Higher education in a relevant field;
• E-commerce or online industry experience;
• Familiarity with Grafana/Loki, Python, React/TypeScript, Kubernetes, Terraform.
