About the Role
We are looking to hire an experienced and passionate Software Engineer – Test Automation to join Digital Factory. The new team member will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and stability of software applications. Our Test Automation Software Engineer will guide the manual testers to be able to write and – by using the framework – run automated test cases. They stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, have a strong commitment to build a working, maintainable, high quality test automation system, and want to improve themselves.
Main Responsibilities
Create functional automated test scripts for regression.
Create automated API test to ensure integrity.
Build and maintain automated performance tests to monitor performance issues.
Collaborate with the development team to integrate automated testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and user stories.
Create and maintain test automation frameworks for mobile and web app functional testing.
Develop and maintain detailed automated test cases and test sets.
Support tester colleagues in writing automated test cases independently.
Execute automated tests to identify defects and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Assist developers in building automated test cases in CI/CD pipelines.
Develop frameworks and test cases for automated API and performance testing.
Document and track defects using issue tracking tools, providing clear and detailed bug reports.
Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and new features.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and testing methodologies.
Mentor, coach, and train junior testers and interns, enhancing their skills and knowledge of testing.
About Your Experience and Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree: Master’s degree is a plus
Specialization in IT / Computer Science / Engineering / Business is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in test automation engineering.
Proven expertise in developing open-source automation frameworks.
Experience with retail IT systems is a plus.
ISTQB Foundation Level Certification is a plus.
Familiarity with agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development methods.
Experience in retail business processes.
Professional and Technical Competencies
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in open-source test automation tools (e. g Selenium, Robot framework).
Familiarity with open-source API testing tools (e. g. Postman).
Experience with open-source performance testing tools (e. g. Jmeter).
Knowledge of test management tools (e. g. Spira, JIRA).
Professional usage of Microsoft Office Suite.
Basic knowledge of SQL.
Mobile testing (iOS, Android), API testing and performance testing are advantageous.
Familiarity with Salesforce Core – Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud knowledge is a plus.
Proven experience in generating process documentation and reports.
Strong facilitation skills, able to drive consensus among technical and non-technical stakeholders.
User-level knowledge of mobile applications and mobile operating systems.

Main Recruitment Steps
Initial call: You will be contacted by MOL Recruitment via phone for a short chat.
Interview: You can expect two or a maximum of three interview rounds, where you can meet your direct manager, some experts from the team, ask your questions and present your skills and career path. We always make sure you receive timely feedback after each round.
Technical Assessment: You will either receive a take-home assignment after the first interview or be asked to solve an exercise on the spot at one of the interviews.
