Your new role 

• Works with the lottery and sports betting system including both the retail and web-based channels
• Understands and specifies system requirements by understanding the customers‘ needs - identifying and analyzing system problems and understanding industry standards
• Understands and specifies interfaces between system components in enterprise environment
• Validates results by reviewing test cases and test execution
• Preparing/making presentations for clients and introducing/teaching system functions to colleagues through internal training, if required

What you'll need to succeed 

• You want to work with complex and diverse business processes and requirements
• You regularly write functional specifications of at least 10 pages or use modelling techniques of similar complexity
• You have strong communication skills (with business clients in international enterprise environments)
• You have solid experience with transaction-based systems
• Your experience with relational database concepts (or SQL language) is confident
• You have the following strengths: personal initiative, high level of quality awareness, accuracy and team spirit
• You would like to use your excellent English on a daily basis
• You have bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or engineering

• Advantageous for the position:
• Experience with Agile software development
• German knowledge
