• Qualify new suppliers in Europe according to Material Group Strategy, including audits, contracting, price negotiations, and on-site ramp-up support.
• Manage procurement activities in new product development, relocations, and resourcing projects.
• Continuous improvement and optimization of supplier quality and supplier management related work processes.
• Procurement document management
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, organize regular management reviews, and drive continuous improvement of supplier KPIs.
• Ensure continuous supply by implementing preventive measures and addressing supply issues promptly
• Mitigate business interruption risks across the portfolio and adhere to the Code of Conduct.

• You have a Graduation in Engineering and/or Business Administration with deep technical expertise
• More than 5 years of experience in purchasing relevant industrial environment
• You bring experience in Mechanical components (e. g. Machining, High Pressure Die Casting, Seal & Rubbers, Springs and corresponding production technologies
• You have proven experience in project management to establish clear goals and accountabilities to ensure successful delivery (on time, within budget, meeting agreed upon success criteria) for your stakeholders
• Willingness to travel
• You are fluent in English (verbally and written) with excellent communication skills

• Additional German is a plus.
• Pronounced project management and presentation skills
