C. H. Robinson, one of the world's largest logistics platforms, is looking for our next shipping agent. As a shipping agent – you will be your customers' primary point of contact, responsible for managing and operating the lifecycle of global shipments.
A successful transport agent - find quick solutions to shipping and documentation problems. You will work very hands-on with your customers, working closely with them from the very beginning of the shipping process. - Processes and documentation related to international shipping, from the issuance of the order to the delivery of the shipment.
- Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and develop solutions to internal and external challenges.
- Coordinates shipment-related tasks to meet all customer SOP requirements: booking approvals, processing advance alerts, completing shipments, ensuring proper billing, etc.
- Collaborates with our international team members and third-party agents to ensure efficiency, excellent customer service, and creative problem solving.
- Building great relationships with customers, responding in a timely manner, and tracking the resolution of issues.
- Provide reporting and documentation support to internal and external customers.
- Participation in customer business reviews.
- Apply industry knowledge and critical thinking to adapt processes and create solutions to internal and external challenges.
- +2 years of professional experience in sea and/or road transport.
- Communicative English proficiency
- Excellent communication, prioritization and multitasking skills.
- Proven strong customer service skills, customer engagement and customer focus.
- Excellent follow-up with customers and network
- Critical thinking, flexibility and problem-solving skills to constantly changing tasks and adapt to customer needs.
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and time-bound environment.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office
